The Mandorla Art Award is Australia’s pre-eminent thematic Christian art prize, attracting many of the nation’s leading artists since its establishment in 1985. Presented biennially, the Award is a contemporary fine art initiative that fosters critical engagement with a nominated Biblical text. Through this dialogue between scripture and contemporary practice, Mandorla invites artists to make a significant contribution to Australia’s cultural and artistic life.
