DESCRIPTION:Join us for an intimate conversation with artist Marcus Beilby and curator Connie Petrillo as they explore the themes and processes behind The Real and the Remembered . \n\n\n\nThis rare opportunity offers insight into Beilby’s photorealist practice spanning nearly five decades\, from his earliest work “Whatever Happened to Sunday Mournings” (1979) to the luminous “Yellow Room” (2025). Discover how everyday objects—a shovel\, a broom\, a yellow room—are transformed through patient observation into meditations on memory and time. \n\n\n\nFollowing the discussion\, enjoy a guided tour of the exhibition where Marcus will share the stories behind individual works and his approach to capturing that liminal space between the real and the remembered.
