Lavage - Géricault, Delacroix and Courbet Revisited
Thomas Hoareau
17 September - 17 October 2010 Thomas Hoareau earned a B.A. in Fine Art with a Distinction in painting from W.A.I.T. (now Curtin University). He is a prize winning artist who has exhibited regularly in Perth since 1981 and is represented in the National Gallery, the State Gallery, and various public and private collections. Thomas continues to practice his art at his Viveash studio.
Hoareau is producing five large scale works for this exhibitions, reworkings of five classic historical paintings. Lavage forms the creative component towards the completion of a Master of Fine Arts at the University of Western Australia.
